The September Farmhouse
RETREAT
Deepen Your Connection to Yourself and Your Creativity
Colrain, MA, September 24- 27, 2026
Imagine four days at a quiet farmhouse at the end of a dirt road for time to reflect, integrate, explore, play. Look back at where you've been, pause long enough to think about the season ahead.
September has always felt like a natural turning point. The leaves just starting to turn. The light grows softer. The air begins to change. The apples are ripening.
The cool nights and turning leaves always seem to stir my creative instincts. I find myself wanting to slip away and take stock — harvesting from my thoughts and ideas and writing about what comes next. Do you feel that way in the autumn too?
This September, join a small group of women at a beautiful Airbnb farmhouse in the hills of western Massachusetts.
Three nights and four days of reflection, creativity, and restoration, at the turn of the season.

What We'll Do Together
As the light starts to change, this time of year always brings a mix of nostalgia, reflection and preparation. There's a natural pull to gather has grown, and to look forward to what we’ll need for the season ahead.
The fall equinox time has always been a season of inner reflection and outer harvest. We’ll honor that tradition with this beautiful, restorative retreat with a variety of experiences you can engage with.
It’s the perfect time to step back, take stock, and reflect on the harvest
of your life so far, and identify what might come next, personally, professionally, and creatively.
Together with a small group of women who also value time in nature, quiet reflection, creativity, and meaningful conversation, you’ll step away from the noise of the world and return to who you are inside.
There will be focused experiences to participate in each day, and the rest of the time is yours, to be on your own or with others.
I’ll be sharing a sequence of reflective, creative experiences, including guided writing sessions and creative projects that invite you to explore where you are now, and what comes next.
Imagine Girl Scout camp for grown ups with a more reflective edge.
Between sessions, you might spend time walking the trails, reading on the porch, soaking in the hot tub, journal writing, bird watching, stargazing, gathering around the campfire, or exploring nearby Shelburne Falls.
Optional evening activities will be weather dependent and can include star gazing, evening sharing, campfire, concert with Erica, sharing stories, readings, conversation, games, or time on your own.
Depending on interest, we may also have a guest offering or two — an herbalist, a stargazing program, something seasonal.
Additional offerings:
Massage will be available by appointment for a fee.
You can also book a 1:1 Clarity Compass session with me during the retreat for a 90 minute session devoted to helping you clarify what's emerging and identify your next step, offered at a reduced rate for retreat participants.
About Your Guide
Everything I've ever created comes from this same process: awareness, reflection, integration, and expression. It starts with giving yourself the time to find your ideas, and follow them.
These are the same practices I do in one form or another to mark each turn of the year, grounding me in the season of nature and the season of my own life.
I've helped writers, creatives, educators, and seekers find their stories and deepen their sense of place. From years of experience I know what it takes to bring an idea to life, and what it means to try to balance your work with the life you want to live.
My retreats are designed to nourish your whole self — from wonderful food and company to a self-discovery process that reconnects you with who you are, where you are, and what matters most.
