Summer Camp is not canceled!

Right now, we're in week three of the Creative Discovery Class. Insights and surprises have been pouring in. One participant shared the photo above and wrote:

"One symbol that I keep coming back to is a fiddlehead -- seeing them now fills me with wanting to share in a bounty, and reminds me of life’s potential."

She’s seeing these symbols everywhere now!

When I launched the Grounded in Place Challenge in April, its success inspired me to want to share my creative frameworks. This led to the formation of my two classes: the Sense of Place Creative Discovery Class and the Sense of Place Creative Writing Class. Creating these courses and the others has helped me sift through my own creative process to design the modules, and that has been a personally very helpful and healing thing to do. It’s been restorative – for me and my creative work.

During the classes, people have uncovered new directions for their work, to the next steps they want to take in their career, and even clarity around the pillars of their family values -- all through their inner and outer exploration of place.

It's been an honor to be on the journey together, especially at this time. I love the mix of people in the class: from a National Park Service ranger, to a husband and wife team, doing the program together, to an 80-year-old who chose to join at her daughter's suggestion.

Putting these programs together and offering them has taught me one thing overall: Giving is receiving. And I am so grateful to be able to offer these courses to you!
